The Jeffersonian Institute, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501(c)3, corporation established to address the educational, environmental, and economic needs of rural communities. Since 1995, the Board of Directors, staff, and consultants have worked tirelessly to secure and advance the well-being of underserved locales. The operational philosophy is based on developing partnerships and leveraging resources to solve mutual problems. Federal and state agencies, community-based organizations, private busienesses and industry, and concerned citizens comprise the partnerships.
